24 Hour Classroom Course: 3 Weeks, 4 days a week, for a total of 12 days. Each week will be Mon-Thurs 6:30pm-8:30pm.
The 3 week course is purely the 24 classroom hours. During the first week all students will complete their written test and if they are eligible for the Learner's License they will receive their DE964 Learner's License certificate. The required driving portion will be completed once the student has received their permit from the DPS and has completed the 3 week classroom course. Information for scheduling the driving portion with us, that is included in the $499, will be handed out during the first week of class. If you would like to pay in segments you may do so in person, we offer a split payment of $250 and $249 or a 3 time payment of $167, $166, and $166. The first payment will be made at the time of sign up but the remaining you may pay at your convenience, all payments will need to be made before the Community Driving School can issue your Learner's Permit certificate.
The office will be closed on 12/24/2026 in observation of Christmas Eve. This day coincides with the 8th day of class. In order for students in this class to receive credit for the 8th day of class, students will be given either the option to do a take-home assignment, or may sign into the 8th day of another class.
The office will be closed on 12/31/2026 in observation of New Year's Eve. This day coincides with the 12thday of class, which is the day of our final exam. A take-home assignment will not be given out. Instead, students will have class on 1/2/2026 to take the final exam and receive credit. Students may also make up the class by attending the 12th day of another class.
