Community Driving School's Adult Driver Education program includes everything adults need to get their license in the state of Texas.
- 6 hours of online material sent to the student via email
- Written test to obtain a Learner’s Permit, taken at our office
- Road test to obtain a Driver’s License, taken at our office
Students must show proof of identification when coming in to take the written test. For a list of all acceptable identification documents, please refer to the DPS 'Identification Requirements' webpage:
https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/driver-license/identification-requirements
Students will need to go to the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to obtain a Learner’s Permit after they have passed the written test with us. As we are a third-party facility, all road test applicants will need to present a valid Learner’s Permit in order to take a Road Test.
Please note, no refunds can be given once the school has issued the Adult Driver Education Certificate to the student.
